Skilling Tree Project
The inception of the project goes back to when our founder Ms. Neha Thakur was completing her Masters in counselling psychology at Christ University, Bangalore. For her dissertation, she studied the positive relationship between academic resilience and school connectedness in young adults. Her biggest takeaway from the research was the power of a supportive work environment at school and its importance for academic development of students. This is how the ‘Skilling Tree Project’ came into picture.
While conducting Life skills program in various parts of India, our founder observed how students even in tier 2 regions of India found it difficult to communicate in English. That is when the idea of formatting a Life skills program was realized by the organization even more.
